Update to my life OR Whats happened since Wednesday

Wednesday: Had four tests scheduled. Only took two, due to physics teacher letting me take it later (Harper rules) , and time constraints in English.

Thursday was an interesting day, I had bad stomach cramps in the morning and so I went to the nurse during second period (theatre) , where I slept until middle of third period (lunch). Then I got up to see if i could come home, and the fire alarm goes off. Turns out it wasn't a drill. Someone had set their (?) backpack on fire and thrown it in the boy's locker room. Woohoo, arson. I proceeded to complain about how it was a bad way to try and set the school on fire to my friends. We have a copy of the Encyclopedia of Fire in our library, you crappy fire starting moron! It was then fourth period (Latin), which i decided to skip in favor of lunch. I then went back to the nurse's office and fell asleep. I went home at two.

On Friday, I discovered my public service announcement won the contest in Speech, wahoo! No major illnesses. In English we had a vocabulary quiz, during which I listened to prerecorded British radio on my MP3 player (which is not an iPod). During the quiz someone called me (wrong number), and I couldn't hear my phone ringing, but everyone else could. I looked up and the entire class was staring at me. (Ringtone: Birdhouse in Your Soul, by They Might Be Giants).
Harper forgot my physics test, went home on bus. Caterpillars everywere at home.

Saturday, saw Rumors by Neil Simon. Hilarious, I recommend it to everyone.
Sunday, nothing special.
Monday: Younger Brothers birthday, oddly enough, nothing too noticible happened except for the celebration (He's 8 today!)

The caterpillars are now swarming our yard. They are like one of those plauges that the Middle East gets sometimes. The threads coming down from the trees make it look like it's constantly raining.

Editing Fun!

Ok, got home from school, A. couldn't make it because she had tutoring after school, so it was just me and R. (Abbreviations because I have no idea how the people would react if they knew I used their full names in my blog). So R. and I start editing our public service announcement thing, which it only took us two hours to shoot. It took five and a half hours to edit that thing. It's only 1:48 long! Geez. Posting lots of backups various places on the net.

Anyway, had Chinese food for dinner, it was delicious. I eat good food. :) They finally figured out that huge tofu cubes are nasty and cut them into strips! With the spicy sauce it was perfect. 4\5 stars.

After School

Ignore previous post! I had a great day! During speech (First period, I was writing then) I was let out to go film stuff for a public service announcement, which I will post later, hopefully. Came back for fith period, and had lunch at Thundercloud Subs! It was great.

Good ideas came up with today: A better design for pots to boil water (based on heat sincs), and a nifty substance which I have no idea how to make: It is clear and burns at room temperature with an actual flame, and what you do is you put it on the top of buildings during the winter, and then leave. Then, when the weather gets warmer, the stuff burns, and passerbys notice a bonfire on top of the building. They call the fire department. When the fire department arrives, the fire has burned out, and there is no trace of burning. The fire department tells them they are crazy, and possibly has them arrested for a false calling of the fire department. Fun! Also, the decoritive possibilities are numerous and cool.

At school, miserable as usual

In the debate room, before classes.

I was bored, so I just refreshed the school library's webpage a couple hundred times to make an even 60000. I'll post a screenshot at some point.

I have only been here for about 10 minutes, and already the day is too long. It is definitely going to be one of those days.

There is someone next to me, browsing on eBay motors it looks like. Oblivious in a mist of crappy music being spewed through his headphones, loud enough for others to hear. I think they are plugged into the computer's line out jack, which makes me wonder why he's listening to it. I mean, I can understand if all he owns is crappy music, possibly for reasons of budget, but on the internet there is no excuse.

The Caterpillars (emphasis added) have started invading our lawn again today. They are these nasty green worms that spin out a length of web before cocooning. Well, supposedly they cocoon, I've never actually seen one. The first thread appeared today over the garage, and soon our lawn will be covered, literally covered, every square inch, with webbing.

Last night: In full low ingredient chef mode. Very pleased with myself. By low ingredient, I mean we didn't have much in the house, not I didn't use a lot of stuff in my cooking. At lunch too, now that I think about it. At lunch I managed to make Fettuccini Alfredo, true Italian style. We didn't have nearly enough ingredients to make a good batch of a sauce but it was enough. It tasted sooooo good it was addictive as crack. I am definitely making it again. And at night, I made quesidellias using a bunch of new cooking methods and cream cheese and some other stuff just lying around, and I came up with this ultracrisp shell, not too crisp, just, you know toasty, and the perfect spicy filling. Came out as a cross between a taco, a sandwich, a bagel, an omelette, and of course, a quesodilla. It needs a new name. Will think about that later. For dessert, made homemade whipped cream, which I slightly overbeat and it came out tasting slightly greasy, NB will always use a whisk from now on, forks are just impossible. Put it on some ice cream with apple juice. Delicious despite whipped cream failure. Afterward whipped remaining whipped cream into butter and buttermilk. Buttermilk most delicious thing ever, probably toxic though.

Stayed up all night reading Lolita for school. Went to bed at 2:30 AM, I am tired. I made a powerpoint presentation and will be giving it later today. I have no idea what the requirements are, still, which gives you some idea of how I live my life.

Debate teacher just came into class, time is now 8:33. I still have time before class.

Images in my head right now: Some song by Josh Joplin, and pictures of swirling pickled jalapenos.

I have the best physics teacher in the Entire World. Not eggsagerating, we received a letter from whoever gives those godawful AP tests saying that him and the other physics teacher in the portable they are in are the best physics teachers in the entire world. There was an article in the paper about it.

God my spelling sucks. Probably no-one cares, but I intend to correct it later. Most of it anyway, bad spelling just kind of bothers me, which is one of the many reasons I hate in-class essays. I am currently failing English because I am crap at essays. The problem isn't rambling on about something for hours at a time, Lord knows I'm good at that, it's that a) the topics are crap and b) I have trouble getting my thoughts organized.Random note: Here in Texas, hellhole that it be, our "standardized" test is called the TAKS test, and the essay prompt last year was "Why is it important to have time alone" or something like that, and they gave this to a room full of high-school students. I wonder how many "inappropriate" essays they received. Anyway, I failed that particular test (because of the essay, I'm not one of the phenomenally stupid people who fails due to the multiple choice, which contains such amazingly easy mistakes to spot as the misspelling of the word "is") and If I don't pass it this time, again, essay, I don't get to graduate. Whoop-De-Do. And its not like I have no verbal skills, I got a 750 on the SAT verbal (and an 800 on the Math, go me!), the test is just really badly standardized.

I wonder if I have any tests today. I might have one in history.

Someone in the background is complaining about their classes, I'm not alone! Other people are joining in the complaining! Wahoo! Anyway, 8:50, Have to leave now, will write later.

The Begining

This is my blog. I intend to post my thoughts about stuff here, which, as I have beyond testable creativity levels, should be somewhat interesting. All stuff here is (c)opyright Me.
